How buyers and sellers benefit with safe trade.

Guaranteed delivery of appliances

The equipment is delivered directly to the buyer in the agreed-upon condition.

Guaranteed receipt of payment

The seller receives the full purchase amount as soon as delivery is confirmed.

Clear processing

No uncertainties about whether the money or the equipment should be sent first. Safe-Trade offers a secure and defined framework.

Trusted
intermediary

Forklift acts as a neutral party, ensuring smooth transactions between buyer and seller.

It's as simple as that.

As usual, the buyer and seller first agree on a price for the piece of equipment. Once the seller’s offer has been accepted, the Safe-Trade process begins. From this point forward, Forklift manages the secure payment processing, ensuring both parties are fully protected.
  1. Invoice for machine and Safe-Trade:
The dealer sends us the invoice with the agreed purchase price, which we forward to you unchanged. You will also receive an invoice from us for the use of the Safe-Trade service.
  2. Payment to Forklift:
As soon as you’ve transferred the amounts on both invoices to us, we will inform the seller.
  3. Confirmation and dispatch:
Depending on the agreement between buyer and seller, the equipment can now be collected or transport can be arranged.
Note: Forklift is not involved in transportation. The buyer and seller will make separate arrangements.
  4. Receipt and finalisation:
Once the equipment has arrived and you confirm receipt, we will transfer the payment to the seller.

NOTE:

Forklift does not provide any warranty regarding the condition or properties of the purchased item and is not a party to the purchase contracts!

FAQ

How exactly does Safe-Trade work?

Safe-Trade is a secure payment service from Forklift-International, where the buyer’s money is held in an escrow account. Once the buyer has received the equipment and confirmed delivery, the purchase price is transferred to the seller. This ensures protection for both parties.

How much does payment processing via Safe-Trade cost?

A fee of €345 plus 1% of the agreed purchase price is charged for payment processing.

Example:
For a purchase price of €15,000, the Safe-Trade fee is calculated as:
€345 + (1% of €15,000) = €345 + €150 = €495.

When will the payment be released to the seller?

Payment is released to the seller once one of the following criteria is met:

  • The buyer confirms receipt of the machine.
  • Automatically, 7 days after the scheduled delivery date if no feedback has been received from the buyer and there are no objections.
What happens if the machine arrives damaged or not as described?

Forklift does not provide any warranty for the purchased item. If the equipment arrives damaged or does not match the description, it is the responsibility of the buyer and seller to resolve the issue directly. Forklift does not act as an arbitrator in such disputes. However, the buyer has the right to refuse the equipment, in which case the purchase price (excluding the Safe-Trade fee) will be refunded.

How is the delivery/collection of the machine organised?

Delivery or pickup is arranged directly between the buyer and seller. Forklift is not involved in the transportation process.

What happens if the delivery is late?

If the delivery is delayed, please inform us immediately to prevent automatic payment 7 days after the scheduled delivery date. If a new delivery date has been arranged, kindly let us know.

What happens if there is a problem with the delivery?

If there are any issues with the delivery, the buyer and seller must resolve the situation directly.

However, please inform us in such cases to prevent the automatic release of the purchase price.

How safe is my money during the processing?

The money is held in a Forklift-International escrow account until the buyer confirms receipt of the equipment. This guarantees that the seller only receives payment once the equipment has been delivered.

What happens if the buyer does not confirm receipt of the machine?

If the buyer does not confirm receipt within 7 days of the scheduled delivery date, the purchase amount will be automatically released to the seller, as long as no objections have been raised.

Which payment methods are possible via Safe-Trade?

The purchase price can be paid via bank transfer to Forklift’s escrow account. Other payment methods, such as credit card or PayPal, are currently not supported.

Can I use Safe-Trade for international purchases?

Yes, Safe-Trade can also be used for international purchases, as long as the buyer and seller agree on shipping to the relevant country.

This is what the type designation means at Linde

The Linde Material Handling nomenclature at a glance!

Many people are familiar with the issue: you search for a Linde forklift truck and browse through numerous results on the internet. The trucks look similar, and the type designations often differ only slightly.

What are the differences? What features does one truck offer that the other does not?

We decipher the ‘type code’ and explain the nomenclature of Linde forklift trucks and warehouse equipment. This will help you to find the truck that exactly meets your requirements.

Jump directly to specific information

This information is available in every designation

Each type designation always contains at least one letter followed by a number.

The design type and the corresponding load capacity are indicated above it

First letter = type of construction

The initial letter before the first number directly indicates the type of construction. The letters mean
  • A = Narrow-aisle stacker
  • C = Container stacker / Reach stacker
  • D = Pallet Stacker (double deck loader)
  • E = Counterbalance Forklift with electric motor
  • EW(R) = Variant for North America = Electric Walkie (Rider)
  • EWS = Variant for North America = Electric Walkie Stacker
  • ECR = Variant for North America = Electric Centre Rider Pallet Truck
  • ETR = Variant for North America = Electric Warehouse Truck
  • HCounterbalance Forklift with combustion engine
  • HT = Heavy duty Forklift with additional safety variants
  • K = Narrow aisle & order picker (combination truck)
  • L = Pallet Stacker
  • ML & MM = Pallet Stacker with order picking adaptations (multifunction)
  • M = Hand pallet truck
  • N = Order picker
  • MT & T = Electric Pallet Truck
  • P = Electric tow tractor
  • R = Reach truck
  • S = Sideloader
  • V = Order picker with extendable platform
  • W = Electric Platform Truck
  • X = Counterbalance Forklift with electric motor (new generation with high performance)

Share of individual types in all Linde appliances

First number = load capacity

The first number of the type designation indicates the load capacity in 100kg increments.

Examples:

  • E 25: Electric forklift truck with 25 x 100 kg = 2,500 kg load capacity
  • E 180: Electric forklift truck with 180 x 100 kg = 18,000 kg load capacity

With this knowledge, you can easily differentiate between the main types of construction and their load-bearing capacity.

Summary:

The type designation at Linde consists of two main components: the type and the load capacity. The type is indicated by the letter (e.g. E for electric forklift trucks, T for low lift trucks), while the load capacity is indicated by the first number in 100 kg increments. For example, you can recognise that an E 25 is an electric forklift truck with a load capacity of 2,500 kg. A T14 would be a low lift pallet truck with a load capacity of 1,400 kg.

Optional information

In addition to the main components mentioned, there are other components in the type designation that indicate specific features or special equipment of the truck. These additional characters help to identify the exact configuration and special features of the truck.

General information

  • EX = Explosion-proof (often combined with zone indication)
