With Safe-Trade, Forklift serves as a trusted intermediary, ensuring that every transaction is processed securely and smoothly for both buyer and seller.

We receive the payment from the buyer and release it to the seller only after the delivery has been received by the customer.

Forklift acts as a neutral party, ensuring smooth transactions between buyer and seller.

It's as simple as that.

As usual, the buyer and seller first agree on a price for the piece of equipment. Once the seller’s offer has been accepted, the Safe-Trade process begins. From this point forward, Forklift manages the secure payment processing, ensuring both parties are fully protected.

Invoice for machine and Safe-Trade:
The dealer sends us the invoice with the agreed purchase price, which we forward to you unchanged. You will also receive an invoice from us for the use of the Safe-Trade service.
Payment to Forklift:
As soon as you’ve transferred the amounts on both invoices to us, we will inform the seller.
Confirmation and dispatch:
Depending on the agreement between buyer and seller, the equipment can now be collected or transport can be arranged.
Note: Forklift is not involved in transportation. The buyer and seller will make separate arrangements.
Receipt and finalisation:
Once the equipment has arrived and you confirm receipt, we will transfer the payment to the seller.

Forklift does not provide any warranty regarding the condition or properties of the purchased item and is not a party to the purchase contracts!

FAQ

How exactly does Safe-Trade work?

Safe-Trade is a secure payment service from Forklift-International, where the buyer’s money is held in an escrow account. Once the buyer has received the equipment and confirmed delivery, the purchase price is transferred to the seller. This ensures protection for both parties.

How much does payment processing via Safe-Trade cost?

A fee of €345 plus 1% of the agreed purchase price is charged for payment processing.

Example:
For a purchase price of €15,000, the Safe-Trade fee is calculated as:
€345 + (1% of €15,000) = €345 + €150 = €495.

When will the payment be released to the seller?

Payment is released to the seller once one of the following criteria is met:

The buyer confirms receipt of the machine.
Automatically, 7 days after the scheduled delivery date if no feedback has been received from the buyer and there are no objections.

What happens if the machine arrives damaged or not as described?

Forklift does not provide any warranty for the purchased item. If the equipment arrives damaged or does not match the description, it is the responsibility of the buyer and seller to resolve the issue directly. Forklift does not act as an arbitrator in such disputes. However, the buyer has the right to refuse the equipment, in which case the purchase price (excluding the Safe-Trade fee) will be refunded.

How is the delivery/collection of the machine organised?

Delivery or pickup is arranged directly between the buyer and seller. Forklift is not involved in the transportation process.

What happens if the delivery is late?

If the delivery is delayed, please inform us immediately to prevent automatic payment 7 days after the scheduled delivery date. If a new delivery date has been arranged, kindly let us know.

What happens if there is a problem with the delivery?

If there are any issues with the delivery, the buyer and seller must resolve the situation directly.

However, please inform us in such cases to prevent the automatic release of the purchase price.

How safe is my money during the processing?

The money is held in a Forklift-International escrow account until the buyer confirms receipt of the equipment. This guarantees that the seller only receives payment once the equipment has been delivered.

What happens if the buyer does not confirm receipt of the machine?

If the buyer does not confirm receipt within 7 days of the scheduled delivery date, the purchase amount will be automatically released to the seller, as long as no objections have been raised.

Which payment methods are possible via Safe-Trade?

The purchase price can be paid via bank transfer to Forklift’s escrow account. Other payment methods, such as credit card or PayPal, are currently not supported.

Can I use Safe-Trade for international purchases?

Yes, Safe-Trade can also be used for international purchases, as long as the buyer and seller agree on shipping to the relevant country.

Below, we have analysed which of the top 20 brands have particularly high demand combined with low supply. The result is the “hottest” forklift brands of 2024!

The graph shows the popularity of certain brands in relation to the available used stock. A resulting “demand barometer” of 1 means that a forklift is offered as often as it is demanded. Any equipment with a coefficient greater than 1 is therefore in relatively high demand and considered “hot”.

The first number of the type designation indicates the load capacity in 100kg increments.

Examples:

E 25: Electric forklift truck with 25 x 100 kg = 2,500 kg load capacity
E 180: Electric forklift truck with 180 x 100 kg = 18,000 kg load capacity

With this knowledge, you can easily differentiate between the main types of construction and their load-bearing capacity.

Summary:

1. Go to a machine and click within the Tool Area on “Set up a quote”

2. Now you can adjust additional details or the customer address and create an offer in professional format with all machine details.

If a machine is visible in the rental area, you can create a rental offer similar to the single offer. To do this, click on “Set up rental quote” in the tool area.

Navigate to your inventory management and select the button “Package offer” in the upper right corner.

Now select the desired machines for your package offer and define the final details.

Your package offer is ready!

Order confirmation

Navigate to “Quotes generated” via “My documents”.

“Now select the accepted offer and check the box. You can now create the order confirmation!”

1. Manual device upload

Add your devices conveniently on Desktop!

Do you want to sell a device? – Then ad it right into your inventory with all the details.

Are you missing photos? – Additional pictures you can easily add via the Forklift App or a manual upload .

Do you want to make changes? – Edit your devices with a few clicks.

2. The Forklift App

The Forklift App can be perfectly integrated into your daily work!

Digitizing machines doesn’t have to be complicated!
By using the Forklift app, you can get your whole stock online quickly while doing your regular work!

Want to sell a new machine? – Then take photos right away! You can easily add missing details on the computer.

Sold a machine? – Delete it from your stock with just a few clicks!

Is your customer looking for a machine that you do not have in stock? – No problem any more! Present him a third-party machine according to his wishes directly from the app. You can also send him an offer as if it were your machine! Never lose sales again!

3. Regular upload via list

Do you already have your stock as an (Excel) list or as a feed?

Then simply upload your stocklist to Forklift!
You save valuable time by not having to manually enter your machine details!

We will prepare everything for you and set up your own upload area in your account!
Done! From now on you can upload your list directly to Forklift !

4. Fully automated interface

Your machines fully automated on Forklift?

No problem! Set up an automated interface!

Edit your machines as usual in your ERP. Your devices (including all machine details and photos) are automatically sent to Forklift!

This means that your complete stock remains at the same status at every point in your system and you save yourself the duplication of stock management!

Forklift offers you the possibility to set up your own interface. After the one-time setup, you no longer have to worry again about whether your inventory is displayed correctly!
